Stairs as part of the roof or wall. Nice. also be good for shading .
Apart from the wierd blue tinge to the photots .. how rad is this interior! some definate ideas for the inside of a clasroom. have fun trying to point something out. the shelf over there.. on the left.. no the other left.. no the other one. lame joke i know. m tired
Sort of looks likes 'fossil' architecture in that you can see such a distinct skeleton. cant decide if its cool or just reminds me of half eaten road kill.
I think these images are quite beautiful. Not really practical for a portable building but imagine if this was your school! Kids would actually want to go.
This model I find interesting at it seems to be a number of curvy compartments all slotting in together to create spaces both by themselves and together. Would be fun to try something like this but pretty sure all good intentions would be ditched once we reached the stage of making it with the laser cutter. sorry ham were not that experimental.
These images show the possibility of a large form having a small impact on the site. Will be interesting to experiment with our own design the way it meets the ground.
The two forms in this image , a long skinny box and a shorter fatter box, are repeated and alternated in various positions. This idea would be a simple way of creating an interesting series of portable buildings as opposed to repeating the same form in rows.
